Trainee Legal Cashier Vacancy
We currently have a vacancy for a trainee legal cashier to work as part of our accounts team based at our Hanley office.
As a member of a small team you will need to work in an accurate way under time pressures. You will need to be a good communicator in a team environment, be highly numerate and have good IT skills. Experience in the accounts department of a legal practice would be an advantage but is not essential as long as you can demonstrate accounting experience or aptitude. We are happy to consider AAT qualification funding and would be happy to support you through that training if you are successful in your application.
The role will also involve dealing with colleagues and clients over the telephone and taking payments. Attention to detail is essential along with the ability to work to strict time deadlines.
The successful candidate will be well organised and excellent communication skills are essential. You will need a flexible working approach with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines. Good IT skills and experience of all Microsoft products (Excel in particular) are a must.
The position carries a comprehensive benefits package which includes a competitive salary, depending upon experience, plus 20 days holidays plus Bank Holidays (increasing over time to 25 days plus Bank Holidays) and a contributory pension.
