Michelle Bennett
Trainee Solicitor
Michelle is a Trainee Solicitor currently completing her third and final seat in our Family department.
As part of Michelles training she has had experience in Wills Trust and Probate and Commercial and Agricultural Property.
Michelle initially joined Tinsdills as a legal assistant in our Wills Project Team. Michelle then gained experience working in Commercial and Agricultural Property as a paralegal.
Michelle graduated from Derby University with a degree in Sociology, but then went on to study a post graduate degree in Law at Nottingham Trent University. Continuing her studies at Nottingham Trent University, Michelle went on to complete the Legal Practice Course (LPC).
Michelle commenced her two-year training contract with Tinsdills in September 2023 and is working towards qualifying in 2025.
Whilst working in the Family department, Michelle is assisting other solicitors dealing with matters such as:
· Supporting Solicitors with case progression
· Assing with Divorce and Financial settlements
· Preparation of Financial Disclosure
· Drafting Court Applications
· Attending Court with Counsel
