What Happened?
Our client visited the Zoo with friends and their children. Our client was in a bumper car on their own when a large ceiling panel fell from above hitting their hand and head.

We argued that the Zoo owners failed to ensure that our client was safe within the premises, clearly the panel should not have fallen. The injuries could have been far more severe and luckily, nobody else was sat in the same car with our client.
The Defendants did not admit liability or make any appropriate settlement proposals and so we issued court proceedings to progress our client’s claim.
Outcome
Liability for the accident was eventually admitted and the case settled for £3,500 for the injuries sustained.
