Graduate Legal Project Work
Have you just finished your degree? Wondering what comes next? Are you looking for experience in a local law firm that you can add to your CV? Are you looking to get a foot in the door for a future legal role?
As one of the largest and most experienced firms in North Staffordshire and South Cheshire, Tinsdills’ specialist departments provide a range of legal services for personal and business clients, including Agriculture, Commercial Property, Residential Property, Personal Injury and Compensation, Dispute Resolution, Wills, Trusts, probate, and Family Law.
We are currently looking to initiate a project that would provide ideal work experience for a recently qualified graduate looking to expand and develop their legal knowledge in a real-life legal setting.
The project will initially start within the Marketing Department, supporting us in reviewing documents we hold on to for clients. Once that analysis has been completed, you will be given the opportunity to assist our Client Service Advisors and other legal departments in handling new and existing client enquiries. This will enable you to get to grips with our systems and give you exposure to handling client enquiries via email and telephone.
This role will provide you with varied experience within a legal business, allow you to familiarise yourself with Tinsdills and possibly put you in the best possible position should any opportunities arise to progress your legal career.
This will be an office-based role at our Hanley office, so if you have the following experience in a customer service role, use of a variety of MS Outlook packages, and a high level of accuracy for data inputting and recording, please submit your CV with a short covering letter to our Working Life Manager, Jo Khalifa, at jo.khalifa@tinsdills.co.uk as soon as possible.
Monday through Friday, 9 am—5 pm, 35-hour working week, and a variety of employee perks, including an extra day off for your birthday!
No agency submissions will be considered for this role. Direct applicants only!
We’re Always Looking For Tinsdills Talent
Tinsdills Talent – whether you are a qualified solicitor, looking for your first legal role, an experienced assistant or looking to join one of our Commercial Services Departments, we are always looking for good people to join our teams. We have specialised departments for each area of law and specialists in providing Employee Support within our Working Life Team, Administration and Reception, Marketing, New Business Management, IT and Accounts.
When you join us, you will be welcomed into a close-knit family community that supports and encourages one another, offers guidance, and provides an abundance of staff benefits designed and customised for our teams.
We are always looking for talented individuals to join our growing business, so if you cannot see a vacancy that is suitable for you right now, please send your CV for consideration to our Working Life Manager, Jo Khalifa, at jo.khalifa@tinsdills.co.uk who would be happy to discuss possible opportunities that may be suitable.
Trainee Solicitor Programme
At Tinsdills, we believe it’s all about people, and without our people, the successful outcomes we achieve for our clients would not be possible.
We take your training and development seriously, and your goals become ours because we want to see you succeed.
That’s why we do things here a little differently. Because we value and appreciate the potential of our people, our Trainee Solicitor Programme is offered exclusively to internal applicants only. This ensures that we can create a tailored and supportive programme that reflects individual skills and strengths, providing the perfect environment for our trainees to flourish.
We find that by joining us before applying for a Training Contract, you can be sure that we are the right fit for you and that your fundamental values and behaviours align with those we like to see in our trainees. Then, once you have settled in and fully immersed yourself, you can apply for one of our Trainee Solicitor positions. Here, you will gain client exposure and opportunities to handle your caseload as you develop, plus dedicated investment in your well-being and development from day one.
