Nicola is a Residential development lawyer within our Commercial Property Department.
Nicola was admitted onto the  Roll in January 1985 and has amassed 40 Post Qualification Experience.
Nicola’s are of expertise lies in:
- Acting for developers and/or landowners in relation to sales/purchases of land for residential development. Expertise includes legal advice for conditional contracts, option agreements, promotion agreements with or without overage agreements
- Site set ups for future sales to ensure smooth sales of houses/apartments. Setting up management companies for the same where necessary
- Drafting/reviewing s106 planning agreements including where provisions for affordable housing are required and contributions to be paid.
Nicola has acted for registered providers of social/affordable housing for many years, both in acquiring sites and site set ups. She has also dealt with landowners and nationwide developers.
Before joining Tinsdills, Nicola worked in house for a local authority and in house for a registered provider, and was also the lead lawyer on the North West Regeneration Scheme for registered providers.
