Our Client slipped on rainwater which was on the floor at the rear of a supermarket premises. The water had dripped into the rear corridor of the supermarket as a result of items being brought in from outside when it was raining.
Our client was tasked with order picking as part of her role at a local warehousing company. On lifting a box from the conveyor belt she became aware it was heavier than expected, causing a back injury.
Our client’s husband had booked her a zorbing experience through the Groupon website. A zorbing ball is a large double skinned inflatable structure inside which the ‘rider’ is strapped and the ball is then pushed down a hill.
Our client was an apprentice at a local college and working with another student. He was adjusting a machine when the other student turned the machine on when it was not safe to do so, causing our client injuries to his fingers.
Our client attended a small luxury hotel in Chester for an evening meal with friends. Upon arrival, there was a set of steps to negotiate which were of differing heights. It was dark and as a result of the insufficient light and the differing step heights, our client tripped as she was climbing the steps and fell. She fractured the upper part of her arm, causing her problems with her shoulder.
Our client was jogging through a local park on a tarmac path, when his ankle suddenly turned. This was caused by a raised area of tarmac which had been damaged by tree roots. This caused him to lose his balance and trip, falling to the ground.
Our Client was at work in the bakery of a large supermarket when he slipped on a wet floor. This was caused by a leak from a faulty piece of work equipment (a proving machine) within the bakery.
