The Most Popular Questions For Property Buying & Selling Quotes
This depends on a number of factors, but generally takes 4-6 weeks.
Common causes of delay include title defects, adverse search
results, adverse survey results, non-cooperative parties.
A Survey is an assessment carried out by a Chartered Surveyor
on the state and condition of a property. There are 3 different
types of survey that can be done:
A basic survey (usually for a lenders purposes only, only minimal info provided), a home buyers report (a more in depth survey of the property which provides information on items such as the construction, type of property, physical state, and highlights any obvious defects with the property) or a full structural survey (as the name suggests the structure of the property is looked at in detail).
We recommend that our clients conduct a home buyers survey as we are not able to comment on the physical state of the property.
