Have you developed symptoms which could be a consequence of your job or workplace? If so, you need to let your employer know as soon as possible, and request that you be referred to Occupational Health for a thorough assessment.
It is vital that you let your employer know of these difficulties straight away, at which point they will officially be ‘on notice’ and under pressure to make the necessary changes to your work or working environment.
At this point, it is also advised that you seek out medical help about these symptoms. This can be done by simply making a standard GP appointment. At this point, your GP might refer you elsewhere for more tests as some forms of Industrial Disease need these in order to be diagnosed.
